Chapter 1: The Best Camera
There's a popular saying: “The best camera is the one you have on hand.” In the series titled "The Best Camera Is…", we explore remarkable images taken with the best equipment I had available to me.
Between early 2009 and late 2011, I frequently relied on a pair of Nikon D200 cameras. As my photography pursuits became more serious, especially with paid assignments, I recognized the importance of having a backup. This realization prompted me to invest in a second camera.
I seized every opportunity to shoot, whether it was weddings, theater performances, dance recitals, real estate photography on an island, headshots, or even hitchhiking adventures. I captured a myriad of subjects, including countless models.
A pivotal moment came during a journey to Nepal and India, where I faced a dilemma: should I bring all my gear or embark on what would be an unforgettable adventure? Those who've read my prior reviews will likely guess my choice. You can check out my previous camera evaluations here and here.
