# Reflecting on My September Journey: Stats and Connections

Chapter 1: A Fresh Start After Setbacks
Following the recent suspension, things have taken a positive turn. I’m settling into a rhythm and finding success in my writing endeavors. Establishing a consistent routine has become a priority, and I’m working hard to stay within my comment limits. It can be challenging since I enjoy supporting my favorite writers on Medium, and I have quite a few!
My statistics are on the rise—reads, views, and followers are all climbing! Speaking of followers, I’m just a stone's throw away from reaching my goal of 1,000, with my count sitting around 960. You can expect a big celebration when that milestone is hit!
So, let’s dive into my progress for the first week of September:

I would love to bridge the gap between views and reads, but I suppose it will take some time—hopefully!
This week, I also became a ‘Friend of Medium.’ It felt a bit strange after the previous month’s incident, but I’m a forgiving person. Ultimately, I didn’t make this choice for them; I did it for both you and myself. The extra $10 added to my subscription isn’t a big deal when I consider how much I cherish this platform and the connections I’ve made. If it benefits us all, it’s worth it in my view.
I’ve gained several new followers, which is fantastic. Some of them, however, don’t seem to engage with my content, just hitting the follow button without any interaction. It’s puzzling, but I’m not overly concerned.
As of now, my earnings for the month total $57, which I’m pleased with! One day, I hope to reach $200 a month, and that would definitely call for another celebration!
Chapter 1.1: Embracing Multiple Genres
As many of you are aware, I don’t stick to a single niche. I enjoy the unpredictability in my writing. You might find a heartfelt love poem, an emotional piece, a personal story, or even a cheeky tale to spice things up. I aim to keep surprising you and bringing joy through my stories.
Here are my top three stories from this week:

Anyway, I truly hope everyone is finding joy on Medium. I’m grateful for this platform that allows me to express myself and connect with my favorite people. I often think about many of you throughout my day, wondering how you’re doing and if you’re happy and healthy.
I’m sending good vibes to Lee Byrd for a wonderful vacation! I’m wishing Dixie Dodd a speedy recovery—take your vitamins! I’m glad to hear Samantha M is feeling better—flu season is tough! I hope Fleda.B and her adorable goats are thriving! I look forward to seeing Julene Cole’s progress on her ebook; you’re going to excel! I wish I could engage with Marcus Musick about football, but I just don’t follow it—sorry! And I’m hoping Sam David Parker is free from those pesky eggs in the morning! Sophia Chanu, may your day be as lovely as you are! Laney Mills, I’m thinking of you and wishing you a complete recovery! Nancy Santos, I can’t wait to read your poem about Pretty Woman; how about Dirty Dancing next? Queenie Davies, I know we’ll always support each other! I miss John G—Karate Guy—has anyone heard from him recently? John, come back!
I apologize if I’ve left anyone out; my memory can be a bit scattered. I hold many of you dear!
Chapter 1.2: The Importance of Genuine Engagement
I strive to read, highlight, and applaud properly, fully engaging with the content I encounter. Thank you to everyone who reciprocates; your support is greatly appreciated! Let’s continue to uplift one another and be genuine in our interactions—it’s the best approach!
In closing, let’s all keep shining! Write for yourself first. Express what you feel, heal, laugh, and do whatever you need to do. Just be real and be yourself!
