Apple, Please Hear Our Concerns: A Call for Change

Chapter 1: The Excitement of New Releases
The anticipation for the latest iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro is palpable, with their new designs, features, and colors drawing everyone in. Who could possibly resist the allure of Apple's latest innovations? The excitement is further amplified by the release of the new Apple Watch Ultra, tailored for serious athletes.
However, amidst all the excitement, there are several features I wish Apple would consider including (or reinstating). Here, I present five suggestions for Apple’s engineers:
Section 1.1: The Need for Expandable Memory
Imagine you're about to capture a special moment when your iPhone suddenly alerts you that storage is full. This common scenario forces you to hurriedly delete unneeded files or transfer them to the cloud. Have you ever experienced this?
It often turns out that app data is consuming storage rather than your precious photos and videos. This illustrates the need for iPhones to support expandable memory. By simply inserting a memory card, you would never again have to part with a cherished photo.
While cloud storage can be a convenient option, it typically requires a subscription. In contrast, the iPhone 14 Pro starts at $999 for 128GB, with a 512GB model priced at $1299. In comparison, a 512GB Samsung microSD card is available for just $149.99.
Subsection 1.1.1: Earphone Jack: A Long-Lost Feature

I genuinely appreciate my Bluetooth earphones for their convenience, but I often forget to charge them, leading to frustrating moments when they disconnect. A wired headphone option would be ideal in these situations.
Since the iPhone 7 launched in 2016, Apple has phased out the earphone jack, claiming it to be outdated. While they initially provided headphones that connected through the lightning port, they've since stopped including them altogether, promoting their wireless AirPods instead. For those still preferring wired headphones, a lightning to 3.5mm adapter is available, but it comes at an extra cost. Given that 3.5mm jacks are standard on most devices, wouldn’t it be great to have this option back?
Section 1.2: The Disappearance of the Charging Adapter

Similar to the earphone jack, the latest iPhones no longer include a charging adapter. In response to complaints, particularly from Brazil, Apple has faced criticism for selling devices without essential accessories, which some argue renders the product incomplete.
Apple justified this move as part of their environmental initiative, claiming that reducing packaging allows for more efficient shipping. Yet, those of us who prefer to plug our chargers into the wall must purchase the adapter separately. It’s a frustrating situation, especially for new buyers.
Chapter 2: The USB Type-C Dilemma
As many devices now utilize USB Type-C cables, Apple’s exclusive reliance on their lightning cables can be cumbersome. If you own both Android and Apple products, you’re likely juggling multiple charging cords. While the lightning cable is compatible with various Apple devices, it creates inconvenience for those who prefer a more universal solution.
Section 2.1: Pocket Size vs. Screen Size

The trend towards larger smartphones reflects their evolving functionality. However, the increasing size of devices, such as the iPhone 13 mini, makes it challenging to carry them in a front pocket. As someone with smaller hands, I find it increasingly difficult to use my phone one-handed.
The adage "bigger isn't always better" resonates here. So, dear Apple, please take user feedback into account. It would be greatly appreciated!
